Flowers are everywhere! Even in movies! Take a look at this scene from the movie “Dirty Harry” https://youtu.be/38mE6ba3qj8?t=10 . Now you may not have seen it the first time but if you take a closer look you’ll see the FTD logo! The movie about a tough, no holds barred cop was based in San Francisco.
During one of the very first scenes you’ll witness the main character Harry shooting at a car which was headed directly towards him. Once the driver was hit the car crashes directly into a flower vendors cart and for a split second you’ll notice the famous FTD logo! FTD stands for Florist Transworld Delivery. It was the pioneer in sending flowers to non-local locations.
We at Surf Florist and Miami Beach Flowers have been proud members of FTD since 1952. A detail like this will just fly over some people’s heads but not with us! It’s good to know that the bad guy was finally caught. But did they really have to mess up all those flowers?
