Floral gift not what you expected? What to do:

What do you do when you are not satisfied with your floral gift?

We at Surf Florist recommend you call us immediately so that we can fix it.

We stand behind our product and service 100%!

Please don't wait a week or two (or longer). Sometimes the issue can be resolved with a quick phone call or addition to your gift. In our experience, the most common reasons for dissatisfaction are because of:

A Wrong product

A) The wrong product was chosen by the sender (e.g. He ordered Red Roses but she doesn't like Red Roses; she prefers a mixed arrangement of assorted pink white and lavender flowers. Or the customer ordered a flower arrangement but the recipient prefers an orchid plant, etc.)

Size

B) Sometimes, the sender is unhappy with the size of the delivered product. If size is important for you, please call us and verify how big the delivered gift will be so there will be no misunderstandings. Please note most images of flower arrangements on the web are usually close up so they look bigger than they are. A phone call goes a long way to avoid any misunderstanding.

Dead flowers?

C) We've had people say that certain flowers look dead when what they really mean to say is that they are unfamiliar with a particular flower in their arrangement. Since they don't recognize it as a flower they know, they assume (incorrectly) that it must be dead. Let us know if there is a particular flower you want us to replace. (Through the years we've had complaints where the recipient said there are dead roses in the container when we didn't include roses in that product!) And sometimes, despite our best efforts, the product is past its prime. Call us and let us know and we will replace it.

Your particular taste!

D) Is there a particular flower you DO NOT like? Let us know! Is there a particular flower you DO like? Let us know! The more we know about your taste in flowers, the more we can create a gift that you are proud to send! Some people are allergic to the fragrance of certain flowers. In 31 years of doing flowers, we have heard people express dislike for the scents of Lilies, Roses (those that do have a fragrance), Lilac, Peonies, Fressia and others. Let us know ahead of time if you or you think the recipient does like any of these fragrances.
